Leisure Activities

The Student Service Centre is at your service as soon as you arrive and all along your stay on the campus


The Student Service Centre offers a wide range of services and information to students. In order to facilitate the personal and academic integration of international students into Vatel and more particularly into Nimes, the Student Service Centre provides tailored services and activities.

  • Orientation week with assistance on all administrative work: how to open a bank account and apply for a student residency permit
  • Introduction to the French way of life and helpful information about the city of Nimes
  • Guided tour of the old city of Nimes and its surroundings
  • Assistance with internship placements and part-time jobs
  • Counselling service to assist students with any personal or academic issues that may arise

Leisure activities are organised for you to unwind

The student committee is very active and organise thematic events gathering all the students in a very festive atmosphere:
• integration week-end • world cooking gala • Chinese New Year • skiing outings • visits to Disney Resort Paris • cultural trips to European capitals • visiting vineyards and tasting • sightseeing trips • meetings with students from neighbouring universities and schools • Diwali, the Indian festival of light • participation in charity event and much, much more...

Hotel and Tourism Management
