For whom is the MBA HTM designed?
This unique and prestigious programme designed by Vatel is intended for all Vatel school students at the end of their current degree course. Armed with a bachelor or a master’s degree, you already have a very good knowledge of European management. The one-year MBA at Vatel Los Angeles helps you develop your knowledge and experience of the American style of management, whether you intend to go for operational or administrative management.

Why take an MBA HTM?
There are two very different styles of management in hotel groups worldwide:

• Quality and customer satisfaction oriented European style of management considers the cultural background to the customer, the country where the hotel is located and therefore the staff employed...
• American style of management is based on a more rigid process-oriented approach. Everyone has to comply with procedures including the customer. This style is predominantly governed by business and performance.
• European management requires thought and capacity for analysis, whereas American management focuses more on marketing and innovation. If you are planning for an international career, you need to be an expert of these two management styles that coexist in international hotel groups.

What does the MBA HTM programme consist of?
