Location

Just two hours from Paris and an hour from the Mediterranean sea by TGV (high-speed train), Lyon is situated in a remarkable geographical location, kneaded in history; the city was registered as a heritage city by UNESCO. The Lyon metropolitan area, the largest in the Rhone-Alpes region, lies in a strategic location in the natural plain of the Rhone Valley. It is surrounded by the Beaujolais country in the north, the Monts du Lyonnais in the west, and the plains of the Dombes and Isère in the east and north. In the kingdom of good taste, Lyon's cuisine reigns above all others. This centuries-old tradition is an intrinsic part of the Lyon way of life. If there is one title that can't be taken away from Lyon, it is definitely that of gastronomic capital of the world.

The Hotel School
Vatel Lyon is located in the heart of the city on what might be referred to as an island between the Rhone and the Saone, the bustling shopping area of the city centre yet close to universities and Perrache railway station.

Hotel and Tourism Management
