Location
Situated on a large Mediterranean gulf, (the Gulf of Tunis), behind the Lake of Tunis and the port of La Goulette (Halq al Wadi), the city extends along the coastal plain and the hills that surround it. At the centre of more modern development (colonial era and post) lies the old medina. Beyond this section lie the suburbs of Carthage, La Marsa, and Sidi Bou Said.

The Hotel School
With a modern architecture, a platform for the African continent, Vatel Tunis welcomes students of 28 different nationalities.

The teaching facilities
The students have at their disposal classrooms, computer labs, library, audio-visuel equipments, free wireless internet access and practical application infrastructure like : Kitchens, Lounges and restaurants open to public. The latter, in 2007, has received the “Medaille d’or” (Gold Medal) from the French National Academy of Cuisine.

Well known personalities for the Graduation Years
2006-2007 : Mr. Serge Degallaix, French Ambassador to Tunisia.
2005-2006 : Mr. Tijani Haddad, Minister for Tourism.
2004-2005 : Mr. Mohamed Amouri, President of the Hasdrubal Chain of Hotels (Member of the Leading Hotels of the World).

• MBA in International Hotel and Tourism Management (1)*

* For some graduates, it may be necessary to complete a foundation course for a year before the Master/ MBA degree.
