The operational internships in the 1st and 2nd year of the Vatel Bachelor in International Hotel Management are followed by a managerial internship, which takes place as a part of the MBA in International Hotel Management curriculum.
The goal of these first Vatel internships is to have practical experience in important functions such as working at the front desk, in the restaurant as well as consolidating linguistic abilities, while the goal for students in their managerial internships is to ensure management functions and have true responsibilities in the company.
In this context, and after having presented the various posts at the Peninsula, Margaux Rotter from the Human Resources department and Quentin Gil from the Housekeeping department, held individual interviews with 4th year Vatel Nimes students who wanted to do their managerial internships at the Palace.
“During the past six months, we hosted Jean-Charles Poinsignon, a Vatel Nimes student, who we recruited directly from his campus last year. Jean-Charles was a good ambassador for his school, as he did an excellent job and wrote a very interesting paper on how to improve the insertion of disabled employees. " Nicolas Tessier, the Peninsula’ s Assistant HR Manager, a mediator of this meeting and... a Vatelien!
