They do their show and go...

Hosting participants in an international bike race: a challenge? A great opportunity to use the golden rule that each hospitality professional goes by: knowing how to adapt to what clients need.

They do their show and go...

In the Vatel Nimes Hotel, high-level athletes often sit next to the business and leisure clients: in particular, soccer teams often stay at the hotel for national and international matches. Now used to these athletic guests, the hotel was pleased to host bike riders for the Vuelta race, a tour of Spain that left this year from Nimes.

About fifty participants thus stayed in the Vatel Hotel: bike racers, but also race managers, mechanics and the communication teams. Organizers sent the hotel strict specifications for this stay: specific menus for the athletes, reservations for the hotel’s conference rooms, minibars with no sweets nor soft drinks, dedicated rooms for physical therapists with massage tables, etc.

Constantly striving to offer a customized welcome to its guests, the hotel now has outlets for electric cars, and is working on specific menus for vegetarians and gluten-intolerant guests. Always listen: the key to success!
