For the Vatel Nimes Student Services Department, composed of 12 second-year students, back to school means welcoming new French and international students: a program spread out through an entire week, which includes get-togethers, entertaining activities and outings:
D-3 before school starts: new students make themselves at home in the student residence. With their parents, they tour the campus and school facilities, accompanied by someone from Student Services.
Monday - school starts: each new student meets his or her mentor, a second-year student.
Thursday: those organizing the event and new students get to know each other better during a cocktail held at a bar near the campus.
Saturday and Sunday: including new students and organizers, the on-board weekend at La Grande Motte brings together over 100 participants. It includes team-building activities so students will get to know each other in a fun-filled way, quizzes, meals taken together... without forgetting the traditional onboarding evening!
Between hospitality, group activities and cultural exchanges, Student Services students try out special events organization successfully: no surprises in a school where students are able to specialize in...Events Management!
