Just because Vatel Nimes students have a four-star hotel available to them, right next to their classroom isn’t a reason for them to be denied the opportunity of visiting hotels just like their Vatel Paris and Vatel Lyon classmates do.
“These tours are essential for all Vatel School students and they allow us to become award of all the specificities in each hotel category in terms of administration and team management,” said Fanny Boisbouvier when she returned from her tours at the Ibis Budget 2* and Ibis Styles 3* hotels, located across the street from the Nimes train station.
And she added: “What I liked best is when we went from the red passage to the green one, meaning from Ibis Budget to Ibis Styles: we went through a door reserved for employees and closed to the public and I immediately felt the difference in standing between these two hotels and had fun mentally classifying all the differences between these two hotels.
Our Vatel Hotel is a four-star hotel with a Brasserie, a restaurant, and a spa and we can market these features in our communication strategy and the two Ibis hotels don’t have these facilities. On the other hand, they’re right across from the train station and so they attract a different kind of client base. “
