Don’t you think “Nova” is a great name for a car? That was what Ford thought too back in 1975, when everything relating to space was trendy.

Yes, but even though this brand image was spot on in Anglo-Saxon countries, its Spanish translation “no va” meaning “does not work,” wasn’t exactly the image they wanted to convey.  So we’ll chalk that one up as a flop!
