Vatel means uniforms for everyone, but in March there’s an exception... Let’s have another look at the Vatel Nimes Carnival Day.
In Vatel Nimes, like at all Vatel campuses in the world, wearing the uniform is something that’s required every day, both during academic classes and during professional experience weeks at the Vatel Hotel.
The whole year? Actually, there is one day where this rule isn’t applied. And it’s the Carnival Day that the school organizes for Mardi-Gras.
For one entire day the classes don their costumes and get together for the morning and afternoon breaks to enjoy crepes that Student Services prepares.
And to close this event, this year everyone was invited to the Victor Hugo bar that Student Services privatized and decorated for the Carnival.
A message from Alain Sebban on the re-opening of Vatel schools.
It is with great joy that we welcome our students back to Vatel schools.
Of course, the virus is still around and so. we must all – cheerfully - respect the health measures put in place in our schools and training restaurants and hotels.
