You feel like...
Being in the heart the wine region, you can’t miss the opportunity to visit our famous Cité du Vin Cultural Centre dedicated to the wine, it offers you a sensorial journey around the wines of the world, through the ages and cultures. To round off this nice visit, the belvedere at 35 meters high offers you wine tasting with a unique panoramic view of Bordeaux.
Makila Café terrace with the sunset is the ideal place to enjoy the view over the stone bridge and our lovely city of Bordeaux, around a home-made Sangria.
The several Markets are unavoidable: the one on the docks every sunday mornings, and also the one located in the area of “Les Capucins” is a happy, colorful and vibrant place.
Here are some of my favorites brunch that you can’t miss! Books & Coffee located on St James street, offers you a wonderful brunch. Also, “Au couvent” has students plans for a tasty brunch composed of different options. If you are a Burger lover, don’t miss Edmond Pure Burger, one the best in town. Quality products made in France, in the center of the city, and with good vibes! And also a good plan for student, Plume & Bakery Coffee : warm and cozy place to have a break with friends or family around amazing coffees, home-made pastries, sandwichs and brunchs made of local and organic products.
If you enjoy little boutiques, you will be happy in the area of “Les Chartrons” and also around “Quais des Marques”, where you will find many outlets. Flea markets are the perfect place to dig up little wonders. I recommend you the one in Quinconces, which is popular
Arcachon Bay is the great place to escape everyday life particulary the Dune du Pilat, highest dune in Europe, with the forest on one side and on the other the ocean. Have a break in “Café de la Plage” in Arcachon, good value for money with a nice view on the ocean!
