Vatel Bordeaux is expanding and a second campus, “Les Halles,” will open for the beginning of the 2018 academic year to reinforce development and educational innovation.
The European high-tech pole, a huge business center and a leading university city, ideally located between the Atlantic Ocean and the world’s most famous vineyards, Bordeaux has been voted as the their "favourite city”, by the French.
On UNESCO’s World Heritage’s list, Bordeaux has undertaken a veritable urban metamorphose, opening itself towards the river and its trendy wharfs. Recently elected Best city to visit in 2017 by the Lonely Planet, it’s also ranked “2nd Best Worldwide destination in 2016” according to the magazine New York Times.
In 2017, it hosted 7 millions tourists attracted by it cultural heritage, its cultural heritage, its grastronomy, its exceptional wines, event and congresses, such as the Vinexpo trade fair, where everyone who’s anyone in the wine industry meets up.
Opened in 1994, Vatel Bordeaux host and trains over 590 students each year. Located in the historical Chartrons district, Vatel has facilities of nearly 33,000 square feet, with classroom, a 4* hotel, a lounge bar and a themed “Global Tastes and Wines” restaurant called: Les Tables Vatel.
Vatel School was honored as the "Best School Award" by the Worldwide Hospitality Awards.

In addition of the first campus located in the Chartrons district, Vatel Bordeaux will open a second one at the beginning of academic year 2018, situed in the Halles accross from the Cité du Vin.
