The entrance exam is made up of two parts:

1. Written Exam
Candidates must complete several tests, including:
Language tests (French and English for the French-language program, and English only for the English-language program)
A questionnaire on general hotel industry knowledge
A questionnaire on Management, Finance, and Marketing
Two personality tests

2. Oral Exam
This is a motivational interview that lasts approximately 15 minutes.
Depending on the campus, the exams are held either in person or remotely. Feel free to contact the admissions officer at the relevant campus for more information. The total duration of the MBA entrance exam is 3 hours.

The MBA is taught in French or English.

In French: All campuses in France offer the curriculum taught 100% in French, with language courses (mandatory English + an optional second language).

In English: The campuses in Bordeaux and Nîmes (France), Brussels (Belgium), and Martigny (Switzerland) offer a program taught entirely in English.

A Vatel Bachelor's degree includes two professional internships:

Year 1: A 4-month optional internship to apply your skills in restaurant, reception, or housekeeping services.

Year 2: A 6-month mandatory internship to take on more responsibility, in France or abroad.

Internships in Europe are paid around €500 net per month, often with accommodation and meals included. Compensation is generally higher abroad.
