From your first year, you will work in the hotel and catering trades. Then in the second year, you will make your international début! By your third year, you will have already gained a solid background and will have a clear idea which sector you prefer most. Then you can start developing your knowledge of that sector in greater detail. On the menu: Luxury and International Hospitality, Events and Catering or Entrepreneurship. These 3 options are not intended to lock you into any one field, but rather to open your options in a number of trades.
Once you’re in your 4th year and have a clear idea of your career path, then you can move to another campus to specialise in your fifth year.

“Since my studies, I've lived in four countries in the space of five years. Vatel offered me an international vision of the hotel and wine world – a precious quality in my professional life, and in a multicultural city like Singapore.“
“What I like most about my job is the relationships I build with employees. Helping them to be fulfilled, and making sure they feel their company listens to and supports them, is a challenge I love rising to every day.“
“Switching from the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris to running the Ecolodge in Sapa, in South-East Asia, working one morning in a Parisian 'palace' and then, almost overnight, waking up deep amid Vietnamese scenery – that too can be the life of a Vatel alumnus.“
“I always dreamed of selling the bread made at the family farm. Thanks to Vatel, my dream has come true. The school instilled in me everything I needed: rigor, discipline, know-how... I now make our bread alongside my 17 employees, and our products head to the capital where they sell like hot cakes! “
“ Vatel enabled me to discover the world of Australian-style coffee shops. This experience prompted me, together with my sister Margot, to open a concept that really fits us. Marlette organic mixes make delicious patisseries...
And now, I've found fulfilment by developing our brand in Paris!“
“ With Vatel, I gradually moved into my role as a Revenue Manager – until I had a lightbulb moment and set up Plateform – because no revenue-management software met the needs of independent hotels.
I'm proud to have created a platform designed by hoteliers for hoteliers! “
