Study international hotel management at Vatel Bordeaux
The spirit of the South West
A tourist city par excellence, Bordeaux was crowned European Capital of Smart Tourism in 2022. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is appreciated for its gastronomy and the multitude of terraces that abound in the city center. And how can we not mention the country's largest wine region?
Founded in 1994, the Vatel Bordeaux hotel management school counts more than 50 different nationalities spread between its two campuses. The establishment offers its 630 students classes in French or English, along with personalized support tailored to their career goals and, naturally, a specialization in Wine and Spirits, given its location in Bordeaux.
Vatel Bordeaux earned France’s Qualiopi certification in 2021. That certification offers a confirmation of the quality of the processes and actions we employ as a training provider, from a perspective of the development of skills in the school’s trainees.
Thanks to the Hospitality & Innovation Lab (created to allow new concepts to emerge that will change the face of hospitality by and for Vatel Bordeaux students), Futurum (a forum on the future of hospitality) and the Bordeaux International Wine & Spirits Academy, the school will keep innovating, year after year, for the good of its students.
Vatel Bordeaux welcomes students from all over the world who follow the renowned Bachelor or MBA programs in French or English. On both campuses, an international life is lived daily and allow our future graduates to develop during their studies an open mind and an undeniable curiosity.

Living in Bordeaux (France)
Bordeaux is a young and dynamic city, ideally located between the Atlantic Ocean and the largest vineyards in the world. On Unesco World Heritage's list, Bordeaux has undergone a veritable urban metamorphose, opening itself towards the river and its fashionable and trendy wharfs on the Garonne.
Bordeaux embodies the world’s best wines and spirits with its six large grape-growing regions that are known throughout the world and called: the Six Bordeaux Wine Routes. As for gourmet cooking in Bordeaux, it is also a benchmark with its multiple culinary specialties to tickle the taste buds of the most demanding gourmets. With one restaurant for every 285 inhabitants, Bordeaux’s gastronomy, authentic and locally-sourced, blends seafood, local produce and of course, its wines. Excursions into the Bordeaux vineyards are the best way to discover this region’s strengths, how Bordeaux’s wines are made, without forgetting its many prestigious chateaux.
Cultural heritage is an integral part of Bordeaux. From historical monuments to lush green parks and gardens without forgetting its many concert halls, the capital of the Gironde region is a city with something for everyone.
Its large events such as the Bordeaux Wine Festival, Vinexpo, the Epicuriales, Bordeaux Celebrates its River, and many more, are all events that those living in Bordeaux love, without forgetting professionals in the wine industry and its many tourists.Bordeaux Wine Festival | Vinexpo Bordeaux | Les Epicuriales | Bordeaux River Festival
