Set in the magnificent Château de Lacroix-Laval, Vatel Academy in Lyon-Marcy-l'Étoile stands out for its experimental school concept, which combines theoretical courses with an immersive experience. Students learn in an building that is both a training center and an active restaurant business.

The Vatel teaching method is based on one fundamental principle: mastering skills through hands-on experience. The professional training facilities allow you to face the reality of the profession and gain experience. Students benefit from comprehensive facilities, including training kitchens, a pastry and bakery lab, a training reception area, as well as four other spaces open to the public:
Vocational programs available in apprenticeship. Open only to persons who have the authorization to work in France
Tuition fees are covered, and the apprentice's salary is based on the official apprenticeship contract pay scale. All classes are taught in French, and you must be authorized to work in France to apply.

H+ Training is a quality initiative for welcoming people with disabilities into training, created by the Rhône-Alpes Region in partnership with Agefiph.
It is offered to continuing education organizations, apprenticeship training centers, and health and social training institutions throughout the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Today, more than 300 structures are registered. This initiative is structured around four main areas:

Vatel Academy in Lyon has implemented actions and support measures to best welcome and adapt to young people with disabilities, particularly those with learning disorders (such as "dys" disorders). At Vatel Academy Lyon, students can expect to:

Be supported by a staff that is aware of how to accommodate disabilities.
Have their needs for educational accommodations taken into account.
Be accompanied and monitored during their work placements.
