Bordeaux, an unrivalled art of living for students

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bordeaux offers a wide range of activities, between cultural visits, poetic walks, relaxation on one of its many terraces or gourmet breaks in one of its 2000 restaurants. It is a city in full swing that is reinventing itself and invigorating itself, boosted by the creation of new contemporary districts, while being very attached to the preservation of the environment.

Bordeaux embodies the cradle of the world's greatest wines and brandies around 6 great wine-growing territories internationally recognized and called "les 6 Routes du Vin de Bordeaux". As for Bordeaux gastronomy, it is also a safe bet and offers a multitude of culinary specialties to delight the appetite of gourmets. With one restaurant for every 285 inhabitants, Bordeaux's authentic and local gastronomy oscillates between seafood, land and vineyard products.

In Bordeaux, cultural heritage is an integral part of the city. From monuments steeped in history to charming gardens and its many concert halls, the Gironde capital is a city that has things to tell if you know how to listen to it. Its large-scale events, such as Bordeaux fête le vin, are unmissable events for the people of Bordeaux as well as for wine professionals and the many tourists.

Want to climb the highest dune in Europe, learn about wine tasting at the Cité du Vin, enjoy oysters in a hut on the Bay of Arcachon, visit a fortified castle, discover the great UNESCO sites of Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion... Bordeaux and its region are made for you.
