Human Resources Manager in Hospitality

Key Responsibilities

The HR Manager is responsible for the effective management of human resources within a hotel or hotel group. Their duties are varied and include:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Defining needs, selecting candidates, conducting interviews, and strengthening the employer brand.
  • Talent Retention: Reducing employee turnover, establishing career paths, and ensuring internal communication and quality of life at work (QVT).
  • Administrative Management: Overseeing contracts, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with the Labor Code and the specific hourly constraints of the hospitality industry.
  • Skills Development: Establishing a training plan, overseeing forward-looking employment and skills management (GPEC), and promoting internal career progression.
  • Employee Relations: Facilitating dialogue with employee representatives, negotiating agreements, and ensuring legal compliance.
